Why You Should Attend a Retirement Revolution Workshop

David Kennon, Kennon Financial

Starting in January, I’ll be teaching classes on how to join the Retirement Revolution. What is the Retirement Revolution you may ask?

It is a social movement spreading across the mind-shift on retirement mentality. The Retirement Revolution is helping Baby Boomers plan to actually spend money and LIVE during their retirement!

In order to join the Retirement Revolution, first, you need to do some work (don’t worry —  it’s pretty easy and simple). And the Retirement Revolution Workshop will do most of the heavy lifting.

You need a retirement financial plan.

It is incredible to me how many retired Americans walk around their entire retired lives with their hands in the air saying, “I hope this works!” They don’t know if they’ll run out of money, so they never spend more than they absolutely have to.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

The planning process is straightforward. You need to figure out how much you are spending now, on a monthly basis, and what your “fixed income” (which consists of your social security + pensions + investment income – taxes) is. You need to understand the fundamentals of financial planning. You can do this!

You need to invest.

Once you stop working, it is absolutely essential that your money continues to work for you. The options may seem endless CD’s, annuities, mutual funds, money markets but nothing beats a good old-fashioned diversified portfolio of stocks and bonds. They have a strong and consistent history of success.

It may sound boring, but you need to get a basic understanding of how stocks and bonds work. If your money doesn’t grow once you retire, it can be a recipe for disaster.

You need to stop worrying and start living!

Once the first two steps are done, you need to stop worrying about money and start focusing on living your best retirement possible.

Why attend the Retirement Revolution class?

The Retirement Revolution Class is not some ivory-tower, esoteric discussion about investment philosophies. It is an extremely practical and actionable strategic plan that will allow you to live the life you deserve. You will walk out with the tools you need to find that perfect balance between spending too much and spending too little.

And I have a bias I freely admit it. I want you to have the most cash in your pockets during the years you are going to enjoy the money the most. Of course we don’t want you to mortgage your future, and you won’t, but we need to find balance. We need you to realize that money is for LIVING.

Don’t expect some dry two-hour lecture. This is an interactive workshop that focuses on real life change. You will be putting pen to paper and constructing a usable plan for your life.

For those of you interested in attending the first, inaugural workshop, you can RSVP here. I only have space for about 20 people, so please register early if you are interested.

Be Blessed,

David Kennon, Kennon Financial
